Our Impact.

Phytoderm is a small company with a clear belief: a business can grow while strengthening the people and the land around it. Here is how we put that belief into practice.

Women Empowerment

We believe that when women have access to skilled work and fair opportunities, whole communities benefit.

At Phytoderm, a qualified cosmetic formulator plays a key role in our team. A university graduate in her field, she works across production and packaging, applying her expertise to every stage of how our products are made. Beyond our own team, several of our suppliers are women-led businesses, and we are proud to support their work through our purchases.

As we grow, we are committed to creating more skilled jobs for women in our region and to building more partnerships with women producers.

Environmental Responsibility

Our love of nature comes with a responsibility to protect it.

Today, 100% of the electricity used in our production comes from solar energy, using the strong sunshine of the Lebanese mountains to power our work cleanly. By sourcing oils and hydrosols locally, we also shorten our supply chain and reduce the impact of transporting raw materials.

We continue looking for practical ways to reduce our use of resources, packaging, and waste as our business grows.

Rural Development

Phytoderm was born in Rashaya El-Wadi, and we chose to build our future here.

All our employees are hired locally, creating stable, skilled jobs in a rural area where opportunities are often limited. We also buy locally pressed oils and hydrosols from producers in our region, so that part of every product we sell supports local livelihoods and traditional know-how.

Our goal is to show that rural Lebanon can produce high-quality, competitive products, and to grow in a way that keeps opportunity and value within our community.
